I don’t want to believe, but have to admit that the temperature has gotten a lot cooler in just a matter of couple days. It seems that the summer is gone, and fall is here.
The breeze and the smell in the air has changed. It is cold, cruel and seems lonely. Leaves are no longer in their lush green, but slowly turning yellow and brown .. and one day, they will fall and reveal the bare branches.
Sky is getting grey and gloomy. We know the rainny season is coming. The day is getting shorter each day. My umbrella is now in my bag, ready to be called to service. My scarf and jackets are out to accompany me in the cold weather.
The sight, sound and smell are so familiar, and brings back lots of my memories. Looking around, many things still look the same, yet many things have changed. I have grown - not only older, but better.
Weather’s cooling down in Taiwan as well, except it’s just perfect. Gentle sun wafting in the windows, and a nice breeze. And, of course, the occasional unpredictable rain.
That is what summer’s like in Vancouver =) How’s the political weather in Taiwan? Are you out there? or sitting back and see what will happen? I am curious.
I’m still out here, but I have been more successful in avoiding the political weather than I have the physical type. The political climate is something I know about, but not a whole lot. Same for the interest in that side of things.
