Highschool reunion

Posted on Sunday 17 September 2006

I was in L.A. for my friend’s wedding. I had a long debet to myself if I should go or not. Less then 2 weeks prior to the wedding, I bought myself a ticket and went. I am glad that I did. Not only I was happy to see one of my good high school friends got married, but I got to see many of my highschool friends who I haven’t seen for long time, and few that have moved away from Vancouver. It was a first wedding that I attended with many people I know. We all have grown so much. Many of them are very successful as doctors, university prof., and few of them are married.
This was my first time travelled alone, and I found myself enjoyed that very much. I had a day before the wedding to see L.A. I took a 3 hours bus journey from Whittier to Getty Centre. I finished my day at Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. I had a little adventure that I got invited to have dinner with a Iranian family. The dinner was very good.

I am now planning my next trip to my good friend’s wedding in New Zealand, and look forward to it.
