I read the book and saw the movie. The movie was like a quick flash back of the Geisha’s life at the end of hers. Fast, very fast, no time for details, and the story wasn’t exactly how it was supposed to be, but the overall content was there. The movie gave us the key points. Some scenes were beautifully shot. Dancing and costums were wonderful. I appreciate the details and the pace of how the story was told in the book.
