Today is a bank holiday in U.K. I heard it is the day to celebrate the coming of Spring. Mother Nature was for sure busy taking care of all the plants in London by going through periods of rain, sun, rain, sun …. until the night came.
I was happy that Kevin returned on Friday night. On Saturday, we went out with our flatmate, Jens, for chinese tea - dim sum. Then Kevin and I went to a bookstore to spend the rest of the afternoon reading magazines, enjoying my Starbuck’s grand Latte, and listening to some hip music by personal DJ Kevin using my new earphones. I really enjoyed spending time in the bookstore.
On Sunday, we spent our afternoon enjoying the sun in Hyde Park reading a book in my case, and working on a paper and reviewing school work in Kevin’s. We could have enjoyed the sun a little longer if we left the house earlier. Kevin was so evil - he introduced me to an online game. We spent a few hours playing before we left the house. We ended our night by watching Kill Bill Vol. 2. We really enjoyed it, but we both liked the first one a bit better. In Volume 2, there is a good part (10 mins approx.) spoken in cantonese. We were glad that we could understand it without using the subtitles, plus the subtitles were slightly different from the speech. The content is the same, so people who don’t understand cantonese don’t need to worry about missing anything.
Finally, my last day of my long weekend, like I mentioned earlier, the weather was a bit funny. After we did our errands in the morning, Kevin spent more time concentrating on his school work, and I tried to finish up my Barcelona report … as you can tell, I am not trying very hard, but I am working on it.
